Cattle Camp - Murrie Drovers and their Stories by Herb Wharton

Murrie author Herb Wharton has had a lifetime's outback experience droving, horse breaking,rodeo riding and more. In Cattle Camp he draws on his considerable yarn spinning skills to capture, in writing, stories told by his friends of their droving days. These Murrie stockmen and women, growing up on the stockroute and living the free life of the drover, travelled from the Top End and Queensland down into New South Wales and South Australia in a time of unfenced plains and colossal cattle drives.
