Two generations in our family have enjoyed the lively illustrations of Yvonne Perrin - Peter Possum, Ed Galah, Tom Echidna, Wally Wombat, Big Red Kangaroo, and let's not forget Professor Cockatoo. The facial expressions, the colour, the links with text - all contribute to a visual sensation. Add to that the four stories in poem form written by Dan Vallely and you have a magical mix for story telling parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts and friends. And how wonderful it is when the cildren "read" the story back to us one day !!!

The four stories are: The Great Possum Creek Bushfire, The Great Possum Creek Earthquake, The Great Possum Creek Drought, and Possum Creek's Big Flood.
