Portland Downs - the untold story by Ian Waples
A well-researched book on one of the great central Queensland sheep, and later cattle, stations. Located near Isisford, the story begins with the granting of leases in 1865. There are photographs from the Dundas Hamilton collection, as well as many more never before published. Contributions by the McLeans, Paul Lilley, Peter Beavis and Ted Bladwell, Mike Gellert and the Lucks add to the authenticity.
