"Leonard Teale was in Winton for an Arts Council show and we invited him and the audience back to the Winton Club after the show. I got to talking to him about the Bronze Swagman Award and he offered to record a selection of poems and we could make a cassette. Now a CD. I remember in the written correspondence Leonard's beautiful copperplate hand writing! I hope you still enjoy the poems after all these years. See www.bronzeswagman.info for more Bronze Swagman information." Jeff Close. Hon Bronze Swagman Co-ordinator and Hon Junior Bush Poetry Festival Co-ordinator.
