Mayhem, Mystery and Madness on Barcaldine Downs. Chunda and Yatesey are two Grade 8 boys at the local Barcaldine Catholic School. Towards the end of Grade 8, in the year 1962, they must come to a decision - either find a job or go on to high school. Sheep shearing, school boy shenanigans and the strange or supernatural all find refuge on Barcaldine Downs.
