He still can't read or write but he coincidentally met writer Monika McFerran who has captured Ken's story and Ken's unique voice.

Ken Hall spent much of his early life in hospital -at 12 he was moved from the children's ward to the terminal adult's ward. And so the story rolls on - a rollicking yarn full of larrikan gusto, occasionally angry, mostly very funny, and without a trace of self pity.
